A phone can show a Bluetooth pairing record while Ledger Wallet still does not recognize the device. Treat these as two different states: the phone's Bluetooth list shows system pairing, while Ledger Wallet must still receive permission, see the correct device, and complete its own connection flow.

Review phone permissions before removing records
Check whether Ledger Wallet has the needed local permissions for Bluetooth and nearby-device access on the phone. Keep the app open while testing. For the normal mobile pairing path, compare with the Ledger Bluetooth pairing guide before changing more settings.
Separate old system pairing from app recognition
If the phone Bluetooth list contains old or repeated records for the same device, remove only the unclear record and then return to Ledger Wallet for a fresh scan. Do not pair several entries at once. This keeps the app recognition step visible instead of burying it inside the system Bluetooth list.
Use the device screen and Ledger Wallet page together
Keep the device awake and follow the screen prompt while Ledger Wallet searches. If the phone connection path itself needs review, use the phone connection guide to check app entry, device state, and mobile environment in order.
Reconnect after one clean change
After permission, old pairing, and screen state are clear, close and reopen the relevant Ledger Wallet page, then start one reconnect attempt. If recognition still stops inside the app page, continue with the device access checklist and record the phone model, app version, pairing record, and screen prompt.
