Language and time format in Ledger Wallet are interface preferences. They change how the app displays menus, dates, or regional formats, but they do not change the device initialization state, PIN, recovery phrase record, or installed device apps. Treat this as a display-setting task.

Confirm the app entry before changing display settings
If Ledger Wallet was newly installed or recently updated, first confirm the app entry and platform. The broader entry check is covered in the Ledger Wallet download guide. Once the entry is clear, the language and time-format task can stay inside the settings area.
Find interface language and regional display options
Open the settings area and look for language, region, date, or time display options. These settings describe the app interface only. If a page uses a different wording after an update, compare the current app state with the version check guide before assuming the setting has moved.
Keep device setup and backup records separate
Do not mix app display preferences with device-level setup. The device screen, PIN, and recovery phrase record remain separate from the app interface. If the reader is reviewing first setup at the same time, the first-time initialization flow is the better reference.
Record the final display state for future comparisons
After changing language or time format, note the app version, selected language, time display, and device connection state. A short record is useful if another computer or phone uses different regional settings later. The result should be easy to compare without changing backup or device settings.
