Creating the first account in Ledger Wallet comes after the device setup and backup are in place. The work is to open the correct app path, confirm the required device app, add the account view, and record the completion state. It does not require repeating recovery phrase backup.
Start from the Ledger Wallet entry

Confirm the device app needed for the account
The account view depends on the relevant device app and device recognition. If the prompt looks like an app or firmware layer, compare it with the app versus firmware update guide before adding the account.
Create and review the account view
Follow the Ledger Wallet page to add the first account view, then confirm it appears in the account list. If you later add more account views, the account-adding guide gives the follow-up path.
Close without changing the backup
After the account appears, record the account page state, device app used, and any version prompt. If recognition fails, use the device opening checklist before changing setup or backup records.
