A seal and outer packaging check should create a simple photo record and package-state note. The check belongs before setup, so the reader has a clear baseline for the device, box, and first screen.

Photograph the package state first
Record the outer box, seal area, label area, and date before opening. For a similar packaging sequence, use the seal and outer packaging guide.
Keep photos and notes aligned
Use short file names or note labels so photos can be matched to box, label, and accessory state. The photo-record workflow is described in the unboxing photo record guide.
Check the first screen after opening
After the package note is complete, power on the device and record the first screen in a separate line. A broader arrival baseline is available in the new Ledger arrival check.
End with a concise review note
The final note should include package state, photo labels, first screen, and next setup entry. It should not include PINs, recovery phrase words, or private setup details.
