Package Details Need a Second Review | Label Note, Page View, and Entry Check

When Ledger package details need a second review, keep each observation separate. The label note, page view, device screen, and entry path should be checked in sequence so the record stays clear and factual.

Ledger package detail review with label note page view and entry check

Start with the label note

Write the visible label text, package side, model wording, and date before opening the box. The related method in the serial and packaging cross-check guide helps keep label details separate from later device checks.

Review the page view on its own

If a page is used during the review, record the page title and task shown on screen. Do not combine that page view with package text. For a focused comparison, use the package label comparison guide.

Return to the fixed entry path

After label and page notes are complete, reopen the fixed entry path and note the app or page state. This step confirms the review route without adding conclusions about the package.

Add the device screen as the final line

The final line should describe the device screen in plain language, such as setup prompt or connection prompt. For a broader arrival sequence, see the new Ledger arrival check. Keep recovery phrase words and PINs out of the record.
