When account records appear different across views, start by checking the page view and connection state before changing anything. A short local note helps separate a display state from a device or account-view task.

Identify the page view being compared
Write down whether the reader is looking at an account list, a device prompt, or a refresh page. The account-view context in the Ledger Wallet account view guide helps keep display state separate from device state.
Check connection before interpreting the record
A disconnected app, a locked device, or an unfinished refresh can make records look inconsistent. For the normal order of connection and page checks, use the daily Ledger use flow.
Compare the device screen with the page
The hardware screen should explain whether a confirmation or account action is active. Device-state review after setup is covered in the device-state check guide.
Keep the note limited to observable fields
The final note should include page name, connection state, time, and device screen. It should not include recovery phrase words, PINs, or private setup details.
