When a Ledger Wallet page mentions the recovery phrase, the page should be checked against the entry path and the hardware screen before any sensitive record is handled. The goal is to keep the task clear and to separate page text from offline backup material.
Check the Ledger Wallet entry path
Start by noting how the page was opened and what task it claims to support. If the topic is the phrase itself, compare the page wording with the PIN and recovery phrase boundary guide.
Use the device screen as a separate layer
The device screen should show a task that belongs to the page. If the page is only asking for a record review, the hardware screen may not need to show a confirmation prompt. Screen boundaries are explained in the Secure Element overview.
Keep offline backup material outside the page
