Device State Change Record | Hardware State, Recovery Phrase, and Account View

When the device state changes, the record should separate what the hardware shows, where the recovery phrase record is stored, and what Ledger Wallet displays. Keeping those layers separate makes the next review easier.

Describe the hardware state first

Record whether the device is locked, reset, restored, or waiting for a screen action. If the phrase record status is also unclear, compare with the recovery phrase status guide.

Keep the recovery phrase record separate

The recovery phrase belongs in an offline backup record, not in the account-view note. The boundary between PIN and recovery phrase is explained in the PIN and recovery phrase guide.

Review the Ledger Wallet account view

After the hardware state is clear, note what Ledger Wallet shows: account list, prompt, or connection state. For a broader page sequence, use the daily Ledger use flow.

Close with the next review point

The final note should say which layer changed and what will be checked next. It should not include recovery phrase words, PINs, or private setup details.
