Read permission prompts in context
Windows may show administrator permission prompts, while macOS may show security and privacy messages. The check is not to allow every prompt or reject every prompt; it is to confirm that the prompt came from the installer you intentionally downloaded from the checked source.
Connect the device in a clear order
- Start Ledger Wallet after installation.
- Connect and unlock the Ledger device.
- Review whether the application guides you to device management or app management.
