When a Ledger component download takes a long time, treat the screen as a progress-state review. Record what the app window shows, whether the network condition changed, which app entry was used, and what happened after one controlled retry.
Name the Component Window State
Start with the visible text and progress state in the app window. If the issue resembles an update that stopped moving, compare with Ledger App Update Stalled before changing multiple conditions.
Write a Simple Network Note
Record whether the connection was office, home, mobile hotspot, or another known network type. Keep this as a local condition note, not a policy or workaround discussion. The app source path should remain the same.
Retry From the Same Entry
Use the same app entry and device state for one retry. The broader source-path reference in Official App Download and Installation Guide keeps the retry attached to a stable app path.
Connect the Result to Update Review
If the component download resumes, record the app version or next prompt. If it stays on the same screen, record that exact state and compare with Ledger Wallet Update Check for the next visible review step.
