Official Ledger accessories can serve different jobs: carrying, connecting, charging, displaying, or preserving setup records. The useful question is not whether every accessory is needed, but which category matches the device model and daily use case.

Name the accessory category
Start by naming whether the item is a case, cable, dock, backup medium, or bundle. A category label prevents a cable question from being mixed with a storage or carrying question.
Match category to model
Check whether the accessory belongs to a specific model family or a general interface. For connection-related items, compare with Multi-Device Ledger Connection.
Separate daily use from setup records
A daily-use accessory can protect or connect the device, while backup media supports recovery-phrase record storage. The setup baseline is explained in What Is a Recovery Phrase.
Keep a small compatibility note
Record model, accessory category, interface, and when it will be used. That note is more useful than a long list of items without a clear task.
