After opening an unchecked link, the next useful step is to organize what happened. Focus on the entry path, the device state, and what information was or was not entered. The goal is a clear status record, not a broad conclusion.

Record the entry path and page task
Write down where the link was opened, the page title, and the task shown on the page. If the page resembles a download or app entry, compare with the similar entry and download page review.
Check whether the device state changed
Note whether the device was connected, locked, waiting, or showing a confirmation prompt. The device-screen boundary is described in the Secure Element overview.
Separate information entered from information observed
The local note can include page title, time, device state, and next action. It should not include recovery phrase words, PINs, or private setup details. For entry-boundary context, see the computer and phone entry boundary guide.
Return to a known path for the next check
If the page task does not match the intended Ledger Wallet task, close the temporary page and reopen the expected entry from a known route. The next review should begin from that known path.
