A signing prompt should be checked by matching the current page task, the address display, and the device screen. If any of those pieces does not explain the others, the useful action is to pause and rebuild the context from a known Ledger Wallet entry.
Name the current page task
Before looking at the button, identify whether the page is showing an account view, an address review, or an app connection step. The normal order can be compared with the daily Ledger use flow.
Match the device screen to the page
The hardware screen should show a task that belongs to the page in front of the reader. The screen-confirmation role is explained in the Secure Element overview.
Review address display in small parts

Use the pause point when anything does not line up
If the page task, address display, and device prompt do not line up, stop the action and reopen the expected entry. The local note should record page task and screen state, without PINs, recovery phrase words, or private setup details.
